I noticed that your last picture doesn't have a network that you're connected to, on mine it says homegroup, maybe the problem lies with the network settings, I'm not at my PC right now but I'll have a look at it in the morning and post my findings.

Ah, that's very strange, I feel it could be a service that has been disabled on your system then, click on the start menu and type in there "services.msc" without the quotation marks, if there's a prompt then accept, now scoll down the list until you see "windows media player network sharing service" and if it's disabled the change to automatic and start the service, now have a look and see if it shows you the media sharing options again.

Have you removed windows media player from your system by any chance? That service should always be running, or at least be showing in services.msc anyway...

Growing very tired of this , its simple sharing over a network that is running flawlessly with OTHER devices . Do i need to be in a Homegroup for PS3 and Xbox that dont use Win 7 ??? There is NOTHING ever showing in this dropdown ??
