    wmp 12


    since upgrade to win 7 ult from home wmp12 dissapeared, and for the past 2 years been trying to re-install wmp 12.

    does any 1 at all have any ideas how to do it?

    Hi MRZAG

    Its likely its just turned off and needs turning back on. Have a look here see if that gets you up and running - Windows Features - Turn On or Off Its in the media features tab.

    Did you enable all the media features as I think some are dependent on others.It will require a reboot.

    Also, make sure that it's enabled in Default Programs.

    Use your Windows 7 disk and do a repair install.

    have you tried sfc/scannow yet/,there is a link howto in my previous post.
