OMG! it was working... it now gives me a beautiful blue screen... everytime ill try it. i think it is related to gpu/gpu drivers and or codecs as the mastroska logo keeps showing up and disapearing in a blink in the tray bar... i made a printscreen and a photo of the bluescreen i have to work this out the laptop is brand new and has barely something installed. first time i use shark codecs been used to use k-lite with windows xp without problems... coincidence?

    help please

On the MPG~MP4 TAB of the Shark007 Settings Application, select 'use Gabest's blu-ray splitter'
when selecting that, checkboxes below are auto checked, allow that.

    hope it works for you.

well it seems it doesn't BSOD anymore but i don't have the same original video files anymore to test it (it was jvc camcorder .mod files)

i tried with the dvd i recorded using those files and it seems ok too...

here is a printscreen from dvd creator settings just in case

i came 2 this forum for info on the best codec packs out there 4 windows 7. so regardless of which 1's being referred to, its pertinent 2 this discussion, especially if u have win.7. i want 2 know the pros and cons of ALL codec packs. which will hijack my system or wont, which will play ALL, including avi and rar., and/or which will be compatible w/ windows media center/player. vlc, k-lite, shark, etc., i want 2 read about. even from those who dont use them. ALL codec posts are of value 2 ME and tech virgins like me, except those of arrogance, egotism and brown-nosing. this forum helps newbies make informed decisions regarding the best program(s) 4 our system, so i thank all of u 4 your posts.
