Yeah I found out the other day if an mkv contains dual or triple audio streams and subtitles that VSO's ConvertXtoDVD will properly convert retaining those streams so you can switch the audio and subs on your dvd player. Pretty cool really. I was under the impression that it would just convert using the default language the file was set to.
I always use K-Lite though and media player classic because I like simplicity and it has yet to fail me. I have tested K-Lite under so many different environments both x86 and x64 that I can't really argue it's reliability. I now use media player classic for all my videos because it works and is so simple by design.
But everyone has different preferences and if you have to use windows media then the suggestion in this thread is an excellent option.
