Then you need to install one or the other of these two in order to control which monitor you want your slideshow to appear on.

You would need an add-on like:
The Maxifier Version 1.5 for Windows 7 or
    MCEMultiMon | Windows Experts Community

I mean the Sslideshow out of the explorer not the MC slideshow and your links have to do with the WMC.

Well then, are you going to stick with Windows Photo Viewer or flop back to WMC?

You started this Thread by asking:
Slow Picture viewing in Media Center

Hello! I would like to use the Win Media Center to watch my pictures

    No matter,
    Go to and read how:
fiddling with the screen colour settings.

Source: Windows Photo Viewer is insanely SLOW!
If that does not help there are other suggested links at the bottom of that one.

    Again no!
After everything failed with the WMC i tried to watch the pictures on the photo viewer. But the slide show appears just on the wrong screen (photo viewer). And only the WMC is slow not the slide show of the photo viewer.

    You have several options:

    • Try those two programs to control the monitor placement. Whichever viewer you use
    • Try resetting the color settings
    • Use a viewer program other than WMC or Photo viewer.
    • Do a repair install.
