    BluRay playback within MC7

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to obtain bluray playback via MC7. It plays my ripped BluRays, but not disks. I have Powerdvd8 and its out dated, and as i'm sure you all understand, I'd preferr not to have to purchase thier "new" pkg.

You most likely need the BD codec for media center or WMP to work.

PowerDVD8 with the current updates should play BD discs just fine.

What! Say it again please. Do you mean that MC7 natively supports ripped blu-ray playback in its original format? ( I use TotalMedia Theatre 3 Platinum to play BDs straight and stored BD ISOs that get mounted with mikinho's Mount Image. See it here . Either way a software BD player is necessary.)

EDIT: If you still do not want to go for a Software BD player, you may convert your BDs into single uncompressed .mkv files and play it with MC7. Fall back on our venerable Shark 007's codec pack and you are good to go. ( I am happy to be rubbing shoulders here with Shark 007 and mikinho :))
