How can I disable media center?

    Are you planning for a repair install ? Last day I found a similar thread, where all the exes got changed to iTunes. But as iTunes is a third party program, it is possible to uninstall that, and that issue got solved by that way.

    I might just have to, cause as far as i know WMC cant be unistalled

    A repair install WILL NOT change your file associations.
    You currently have them set to Media Center, and a repair install will leave them as such.

    It is up to you to change them. (instruction previously posted)
