    24 hour skip function?

Is there a 24 hour skip or jump function in the guide?

My Dish DVR has this ability & it’s real handy to check the same program every day of the week. For example there may be a daily program but I only watch it when the topic interests me. I can check it Monday at 3pm & then just jump to Tues, then Wed, etc in order to view the details.

Can this be does with WMC?

Unless there is a option I don't know about (been using Media Center since XP) then no. You may want to ask this question on the AVS Home Theater Computer Forum.

Your name looks familiar from the avsforum. I did ask there & if using an MCE remote (which I have to get) using the chapter skip button jumps ahead (or back) in 12 hour jumps. Using a keyboard ctrl -F jumps ahead 12 hrs and ctrl - B jumps back 12 hrs.

Clicking on the TV's on-screen chapter buttons also does this, but I found that you need to have either Live TV or a recording playing (or on pause) in the background, otherwise the buttons are grayed out & do not function. Clicking on the FF or RW jumps in 3 hr segments.

There's probably a way to do the 3 hr skip with a remote or keyboard but I have not yet figured that out.
