Sound is low in MB (WMC)

Hey all, been a while since I have been in here. For some reason (I think this happened with the installation of the latest version), all my movies play very low. I play them in VLC, and my ears are about to blow off lol. Any ideas before I roll back to the prior version to see.

Well. Not easy to guess I think, but here you may want to consider before rolling it back:
    Physically,

    • Poor cable connection
    • Improperly plugged audio jack
    • External sound power failure
    • Shortcut audio cable
    • Onboard audio hardware failure

    Driver/software,

    • Audio control panel setting -> need further check.
    • Activated sound suppression (if any) -> disable it.
    • Outdated codec -> upgrade to the latest.

Hope it helps a little :)

Thanks for the reply kevin, I appreciate your response, but sad to say not the case. I guess now that I think about it, it is the new version causing it, the low sound issue is also apparent on my other machine as well. Now what I might consider doing is redoing the installation as a new installation, rather than an upgrade. I did not remove the old version first before upgrading (never had in the past). Hmm, am I the only one experiencing this since the upgrade?

Never come across that issue so far. But if you are sure it is because of a new version then you can try rolling it back to prove it.
