Microsoft not supporting Netflix in Windows Media Center!?

    Hello everyone.

I turned on my HTPC this morning and proceeded to Netflix for some streaming fun, and got the error message saying something was wrong with my account. Please login again... I tried.. No good. I searched for the answer and saw nothing about this. I then proceeded to chat with a Netflix associate and after a lot of back and forth they said that Microsoft is no longer supporting Netflix in WMC. WHAT? I have seen nor heard of anything recently to support this. Why then does Netflix still show up in WMC? I could find nothing on Microsoft's site that was even remotely close to what I was looking for.

Has anyone had this issue? Has anyone even heard of this issue?

    Thanks in advance for reading.

    Netflix.com Player Error N8156 6003?

    sr22:

If this is the same error message that I spent hours on the phone and internet with when I setup MMC WIN7. The issue is Silverlight & Netflix.

Tried this 3 times on the phone with Netflix - NO GO!

The final solution for me was to rename mspr.hdrs :
    1. left click START ICON
    2. left click COMPUTER
    3. left click LOCAL DISC (C:)
    4. left click PROGRAM DATA
    5. left click MICROSOFT
    6. left click PROGRAM DATA
    7. left click PLAYREADY
    8. right click MSPR.HDS
    9. left click RENAME
    10. place CURSOR after mspr.hdrs
    11. type .old (This effectly gets rid of file.)
    12. press ENTER
    13. press RED X to close window
    14. try NETFLIX in MMC again
    15. you may need to reload Silverlight

Thanks for the reply. No this is not the fix I/we are looking for. It seems to be a Netflix issue. There seems to be a lot of people coming forward on other forums about this issue. Hopefully MS and Netflix will learn to work together.
