MCE Remote control & MCE Keyboard

Has anybody noticed with W7 Beta a reduction in working functionality of either or both of the above. My volume and back buttons on both have stopped working.

I thought it might be the hardware at first but I switched over to Vista MCE and they work fine.

I can't get my Pinnacle Remote Kit to work at all! It didn't require any drivers under Vista so I figured it would work just the same in 7.

    At least yours functions somewhat!

can't get MCE remote (M$) to work, can't setup live TV, install of drivers for
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-850 Hybrid Adapter 1230 USB 2.0 Interface appears ok but you must install app in order to complete install, TV setup fails whether WinTV installed or not.

I have the Logitech wireless Wave Keyboard mouse combo and works perfect and also have a Harmony 880 that works a little different with the HD channels in the HVR1800 tuner have to hit stop button on remote first to open guide to change channels or else it says tuner is in comflict. I also have issues with losing the sound at different times in the shows but recorded play is perfect.

Microsoft Keyboard working fine here, too (on 7 x86). Wonder if it's an x64 issue.

What architecure are you running? x86 or x86?

What is really annoying is that I have a Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT (dual tuner) card and the Terratec remote for that, works perfectly when operating MCE using it!!

Oops sorry Mate, meant to say im on x64. i will adjust my profile. i know this probably sounds overly simplistic, but did you leave the IR receiver usb connection plugged in when you installed 7? Im sure you probably did, but that is the only thing i can think of? i guess that even if you didnt 7 would probably still recognise it when you did plug it in.

also, have you tried removing it, sitting it in another usb slot, and rebooting. i used to sometimes lose the conection with vista and that would work for me.

sorry i cant be of more help to you

Thanks for the info, yes have tried these things, strange it is just a couple of functions on both. Maybe it will get ironed out in some MS update or a new beta, if one comes out.

I am running x86 version and I have also lost some functionality in the mce remote. I cannot use the back button which renders it pretty much useless.
