    my media center


    help pls. my media center doesnt open. i have tried uninstalling it and then installing it again. help. when i open it, a window opens briefly then nothing happens.

    When you say you've 'tried uninstalling it and then installing it again', do you mean Windows 7?

    Can you complete your system specs, it makes it a lot easier to answer questions

    no i mean. uninstalling it through turn off or windows features then turning it on again.

    my specs
    1.9 intel celeron
    2GB RAM
    Mobile Intel (R) chipset family

    Have you tried to repair your Win7 installation with the Installation DVD?

    It is a lot easier if you complete the System Specs in User CP....

    I usually find a solution to problems like this when I backtrack to any changes made to my system. System restore sometimes works, also.

    Open a command terminal and enter sfc /scannow and let it search for any damaged system files... This may cure your ills....
