Event Viewer full of errors concerning Media Center

If I understand correctly, the Media Center is for watching TV on PC? I don't do that, don't believe I've ever used it & not sure I ever will. I'm the only one using this PC. These errors showed up last week 'between' the time MS Updates came out & the time I first started downloads & installs.

Can someone please tell me what my options are?
    Thank you.

okeedokee, if I were to remove the words 'event viewer errors' from my posts, would that get me some sort of reply?

Please don't mis-understand me, I'm not being a smart*** here, I do realize that this forum is made up of volunteers & most of all I realize that I've been a BIG PIA with my PC ignorance. Yes, most of my posts have had those words in the title but there must be some sort of problem to cause all those errors. Or is it just a case of PEBCK?

I've been advised to do some sort of 're-install' to get rid of "bloat" but I don't have the means to do that as yet.

Due to my lack of computer knowledge, I relied on someone else to set it up for me & maybe she didn't know as much as I thought? Not trying to pass the buck here, just wondering.

Will shut up now before I write a book or get myself in 'deep doo-doo.

Actually, a screenshot of the errors would help.

If you don't use media center, you can disable it in windows features,

Thank you! Am I correct about my assumption of what Media Center is for? If so, then I'll disable it. Which area of EV would you want to see? Will start here.

Media Center covers all media. From FM radio to TV to Netflix. Kind of like a hub.

I did end up disabling it a couple days ago & as of right now don't have those errors listed in EV.

Now gotta go investigate my many other EV errors & hope they're as simple to deal with.

    Thank you.

will monitor for a couple days before marking as solved
