    Privileges in Win 7...HELP!!!!

Totally confused with this privileges thing!

I'm the sole user....King, Prime Minister, Head Honcho...Administrator if you like!

I have no secrets from myself....and don't intend to have any in the future.....

How do I set up privileges in my total favour?
I'm trying to set up Media Portal at the mo'...and find I am unable to start TV Services due to lack of privileges.

    I'm going nuts......

    Run as administrator?

Have you tried right clicking on the program icon and selecting "Run as administrator"?

You can also adjust the program shortcut to always start the program as administrator (you have to approve it each time though).

    • Right click on the shortcut and choose Properties
    • On the Shortcut tab, click on the Advanced button (at the bottom).
    • Check the "Run as administrator" check box.
