WMC from laptop does not play Premium Channels on TV (blinking screen)

    Hi,

I can't seem to get premium (or recorded copyrighted) content to play on the Extended Desktop.

The movies play fine on the laptop screen.
When I drag the WMC window over to the Samsung LED TV, it causes the TV to go black every few seconds. It doesn't work with just the TV as Desktop either.

I'm pretty sure it worked before, but it was over a year since I tried.
Was there some sort of DRM update since?

    Please help.

    Thanks.

    Hi rasmasyean,

Please let us know if you are running the TV in extended more or clone mode. Kindly run the TV in different modes and check if the issue occurs in a specific mode.

Also, let us know the video card installed on the system as we might need to update the video card drivers for your system.

You can also download the compatible video drivers for your system from the link below:

    Drivers for Inspiron 15R N5110

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

I tried it in all modes of dual/single display and it still doesn't work.

I downloaded all Windows Updates and Intel Graphics Driver 9.17.10.2843 in your instructions.
Device Manager says I have "Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000" dated 8/21/2012.

Am I supposed to use the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 7570M?

    Hi rasmasyean,

Kindly remove both the video drivers from the system by following the links below:

Graphics — Uninstall the graphics drivers

    AMD Catalyst Un-install Utility

Then download and install fresh copy of the video drivers from the link below:
