    "Please give us a moment to prepare your adapter for new software"


    Comcast is my signal provider. I keep getting this message (see title) above every 10 minutes.
    Comcast has not been of much help.
    What must be done to stop the messages?

    Hello cellsee6,

    Call Comcast technical support... Sounds like they need to resend an initializing signal to the box. If that doesn't work you may need to schedule a tech to stop by. The digital cable converter box may of went bad.

    Call 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489).

    Please, keep us updated on your progress.
