Media Center "can't find" my MKV's

    Media Center "can't find" my MKV's


    Just installed Win7Pro, installed MediaBrowser, Shark's Win7Codecs...

    WMP can play the files, MCE doesn't detect them.

    what do you mean it doesnt 'detect them'. have you added them to be watched folders from within movie library?

    Go to the Help TAB of the settings application and choose to associate filetypes.

i just setup "live tv" with a AVerTV USB TV tuner. i followed the setup in WMC. when going to the "tv guide" however many of the stations have "no data available". is there someway to reset the Windows Media Center...or start all over. i have internet cable connection through Century Link....
Hey guys I cant get my media center (LG BD390) to show my shared folders on my pc. It displays my pc, but doesn't attach those shared folders that are supposed to be shared. If i access my computer from another windows pc there is no problem at all. I have altered the share configurations...

I was trying to watch live TV and that error message popped up. I have never had a problem in the past with it. All drivers installed as far as I know of. Worked a week ago.
OK, so I have all my Media stored on drives that are in a Vista Ultimate 32 Machine on my network. One Drive for music, one for DVDs and recoreded TV. I connected my extender (Linksys DMA 2200) to the W7 machine and all is OK at first glance. but when I manage my library, I go to add folders...
