Audio description voice over on some recorded shows BBC HD(Mainly)

    hi all
I have a problem where mainly on BBC HD its recording Audio description voice over on some recorded shows I have a TSB6982 DVB-S2 Dual Tuner I find this very annoying and can't find away too turn this off
when I edit the wtv file to mpeg or Mkv Etc and tell my edit program 1 audio stream so in theory it removes Audio description voice over it's still their when I come to play it has anyone else come across this problem can't just be me I hope
    thanks for any input

What software are you using to get BBC HD to mpeg ? I'm guessing the DVB-S2 is freesat, but on terrestrial freeview BBC HD is h.264 and a lot of editors won't decode it.

    hi thanks for reply
I have the problem on my freesat machine with the TBS6982 DVB-S2 dual tuner thru windows media centre
on my other machine it is freeview with a TBS6280 Dual Tuner DVB-T2 I don't get the same problem
the software I use to edit is VideoReDo V4 Latest Build

    ps
I am thinking should I change too a different recording software suite but not sure which one too use

I never had much success with h.264 VRD - I use the old mpg2 version. Are you actually recording 2 audio channels with freesat WMC ? Try a test with Super by eRightsoft (it can decode wtv but watch out for the bundled garbage toolbars etc) Super is crap at encoding ie out of sync etc but will show any available audio channels. Test here

I guess its a process of elimination. Good luck with finding a WMC alternative. Let me know if you find anything suitable and easy to use - I've been looking also. I get the impression MS are getting rid of WMC.
