    You could try creating another user account and seeing if you get the same error with that account. That would help identify it as a per user versus per machine setting\conflict

    yes i did that yesterday and same problem i don,t know how to take off the other account now that i got it their. hahahahahaha. Yea i tryed that one also. Man i been around the block man. hahahahaah

    Well, I'm not sure if you found a solution or not, but you can type servics.msc in the search area and bring up on services installed on the computer.

    I think there are two relating to Software Protection. One explicitly called "Software Protection" and the other called "SPP Notification Service". I have problems installing a game that work on the beta version. I keep getting a installerMain.lua: 45 error. I look in event viewer and it looked to be Software Protection maybe. I'm trying that out right now.
