WMC won't update guide

    WMC won't update guide


    I can't seem to get WMC to download latest guide.

    I normally do a channel rescan and that fixes it - not this time.

    I right-clicked the icon and clicked update, but it seems to be stuck.

    Message says "downloading" but it's been like that for an hour.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    I had that once, it was a temporary thing due to where it downloads the epg. Try rebooting and see if that helps.

    I've rebooted a number of times and did a re-scan, no change.

    Can you get the guide?

    Well, it was as simple as uninstalling WMC and reinstalling.

My guide only goes to 5-12-12.
Can't update guide
in Media Center

I can not get the guide to update. I've disabled my virus program thinking that was stopping it but it still won't download. I used restore one time and that worked but after I did a windows update the guide stopped working. Bob
