    WM11 C00D11B1 Error

    Hey everyone
Iv'e just recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop ... I have to partitions on my drive...the C: drive is where windows 7 is installed and D: drive contains all my personal work...before installing windows 7 i moved all my personal folders of my D: drive because the previous operating system i was using wasn't good and i was dying to install windows 7.

Now that I have transferred all my personal folders back on to D: .. whenever i play my music is comes up with "C00D11B1" error .. which says "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." ..

I have been researching into this topic for days and cannot seem to find a solution?! .. Can anyone plss help me!

You could try taking ownership of the folder with the files you're trying to play, inclusive of the files themselves too.

its a really annoying fault ... ive found a cure but its a long winded process ... i think there is something to do with the ID3 tags on my music files becuase that is where the problem is occuring, i have jus transferred some music from my bothers computer and that seems to be working fine as the files i transferred from his computer hav album and artist info (ID3 tags) ...
i can't seem to find any cure for my current library so looks like im jus going av to use my brothers music for the time being...im lucky that we have the same taste in music! haha

    thanks for the help
