Play Videos without ads/don't steal warnings?

If, every time I got into my car, it bombarded me with ads and warnings not to steal cars (which are just a nuisance to the righteous and will do nothing for the thief ) I would sell that car and find one that did not.

Many of my bought and paid for DVDs have such ads and warnings, _in several languages_ quite often, so we sit there for several minutes watching drivel that has nothing to do with us. There are certain TYV shows I can watch if I want that.......however....

I like WMC. IT has a comfortable way of working for me. But is it possible (yet) to circumvent the pre-DVD drivel?

    Thanks for any help.

Those warnings are not only obnoxious, they are ineffective; they certainly will not deter anyone from making a copy if they want to. Even more annoying are the videos that force you to watch multiple previews of other films before you can get to the movie itself.

Exactly. I can play around with vob files, and play only the one without ads etc, but that is a bit of a PITA.

I would laugh but I have some DVDs that actually are that bad.
