I am using the exact same card, no issues.

With this driver, Windows 7 even lets you use the Hybrid card as it was meant to be used. Meanng, you can add both digital and analog to your Media Center.

Hope this helps

I had done that, and gotten a warning about the driver being unsigned, but installed anyway. However, there was a yellow flag over the device after installation, details were about it being unsigned. When I tried to use media center though it said no tuner was found.
I too am curious if there are any new ideas. The exact same thing is happening to me.

Windows 7 Professional

Pinnacle (or should I say Happuage) has solved the HD Pro Stick 801e issues! Their 801e drivers for Windows 7 are now out of beta and in the stable release: Driver

Before installing this driver, I also ran the MC installer from the PCTV site: PCTV Systems > Support > Downloads > Microsoft MediaCenter support. Running the installer alone did not allow Media Center to detect the ClearQAM tuner. I'm not sure if running this MC installer is necessary, this is simply what I did.

I would start by just installing the driver. They provide the officially signed .sys, so you must go to device manager -> update device driver -> browse and point it to the extracted .sys file. (note 32bit or 64bit). Once installed, it will prompt a restart. After restarting, just open up Windows Media Center, set up your TV signal again, and if all went well you will see an analog tuner + digital tuner! It quickly scanned and found 13 channels. Got the rest in the manual channel selection.

This was tested on Windows 7 Professional x64. If you try this out, make sure and post your results here!

Windows 7

The new Windows 7 beta drivers for 880e are not digitally signed and thus can't be installed. Does anyone have the older ones that were working?

Edit: Disabling device driver signing on boot does do the trick, but it's not exactly an ideal solution, as I think you have to disable device driver signing anytime you want to use unsigned drivers.

Windows 7 RC1

Any further progress on this?

I've been trying to install the Windows 7 Beta Drivers on my Pinnacle Ultimate HD 880e. When go through Device Manager it lets me browse and select the folder with the Win 7 Beta drivers (I can only select a folder, there's no option to select an individual .inf file) but when I click Next it says the "The Best Driver For Your Device Is Already Installed. Windows has determined the driver software is up to date."

Any advice or tips gratefully accepted!

Windows 7

I'm trying to get a hold of the beta drivers that were digitally signed, so I've been emailing them and they aren't very knowledgeable or helpful. After a few emails, The guy I talked to told me the only drivers available are the ones on the main drivers page. When I emailed him back and told him that there were indeed other drivers, and that I had them installed, he didn't respond. I sent another email to their customer support and I got an automatically generated email 9 days later, and I still haven't got an actual replay.

The only thing you can do right now is uninstall your current drivers, then restart and disable driver signature enforcement on boot(enter the boot menu by pressing F8 before the Windows loading screen comes up), and then install the beta drivers. You will have to disable driver signature enforcement every time you want to use the device.

Also, if it automatically installs new drivers, you may have to keep uninstalling the automatically installed drivers(probably will help to choose the option to delete current drivers while uninstalling) until it stops.
