Jittery PC monitor while viewing videos in Windows Media Player

Hello group I am new here.

The problem that I'm mentioning below is within Windows Media Player.

I've been having a problem with jittery videos while viewing them on my PC monitor. These are from videos that I have been creating with my professional grade camcorder. I've been making the videos in MP4 and AVCHD. The jitteriness is always present if I am panning the camera on my fluid head tripod or if the camera is stationary and images are passing in front of the lens. The jitteriness in the videos is not present 100% through. The jitteriness is in the videos randomly. Also, when I move my videos from Windows Media Player to my video editing software the jitteriness is even more interruptive. Furthermore, when I move the video from my editing software to final file the jitteriness is still present.

Just so that I say this now, I have connected my video camera to the PC monitor via mini USB cable and there is absolutely no jitteriness at all. But when I send it through my Windows 7 Pro tower that is when the jitteriness is there.

If anyone knows of this problem and how to fix it please respond.

I think what you're asking is, did I view the video on my cameras LED screen. The answer is yes without any jitteriness. I also connected my camera directly to the PC monitor and there was absolutely no jittering. Meaning I bypassed the tower

It is probably that you don't have the codecs needed for smooth playback on windows media player. Your quadro and exon should be more than enough to decode the avc.

Yes it still jittery in VLC. I believe the problem is originating whatever is driving it from the Windows program. Even VLC must be working from a fundamental format within Windows which is also causing the jitteriness in VLC.

My editing software is Edius 7.5. It even does it in Adobe Premiere Pro

VLC should use it's own codecs, as a last resort you could try it in kodi which for sure uses its own and should decode it no problem. You would need to install kodi and add your folder with video as a source under videos. Then it will show your file. If it does not play it something is up with your video drivers most likely. I don't think it's your file if the camera can handle it. I'm at work now on the phone but if you Google kodi it will show up, it was formerly xbmc. Hope this helps. Also is your Avc in a container file or just a folder structure? Edit: if adobe does not play it smooth then it probably is drivers what resolution is the file and what bitrate?

Is it possible the jitteriness in the video lies within the PC monitor. I was chatting with another forum group and one person brought up a very good point. He says because the PC monitor runs in RGB at 60 Hz and the footage is being shot at 59.94 and YUM. He suggests that I get an Black Magic Mini Monitor and a flatscreen 1920x1080p LED w/ LCD with HDMI. Have you ever heard of anything like this before?.

Now let me explain a little bit further in detail what is going on in my problem.
I'm experiencing very little and almost unnoticeable jitteriness in Windows media player. When I send that file to my editing software that is where the jitteriness is quadrupled. I originally thought that if there is jitteriness in Windows media player somehow my editing software must be amplifying the problem which in turn the problem is rendered into a final file and creating a bad and product. Just thought I'd add this.
