Windows 7 Media Played video zoom issue

    Help,
Over the past few days I have been having problems viewing videos on other websites wth Internet Explorer 11, videos all appear zoomed way in to the point of not being able to make them out, but if I play the videos using Chrome they work just fine. Live stream video is ok on Internet Explorer 11 but if I try a video posted on the stream site it zooms in say on Twit. TV site it zooms in go to Google I can watch it no problem

    When trying to play
Windows Media Player the videos always zoom all the way in just like on-line internet videos but You Tube iin internet Explorer runs fine. but if I load the videos to another media player like Quick Time or VLC they work fine. Only in Windows Media Player are the videos zoom in.
If I unplug the power adapter on my laptop and run off battery power videos all play perfect then if I plug adapter back in even while watching a video the video will zoomed way in so odd. Power adapter has no effect on any other player in or out

Seems to be just affecting Internet Explorer 11 and Windows Media Player 12.2.
Up until a few days ago everything was working fine. I Have tried everything posted on the internet that I can find and I’m at a loss

I would really appreciate the help or suggestions perhaps loading Windows 10.
    Thank you

    Mike

Try the steps in these two tutorials:
Power Plan - Restore Default Settings
    Internet Explorer - Reset
Do step 5 in that last one.

Do you have any HP software controlling the power profiles? I seem to recall that HP laptops come with some bloatware for power related functions. Maybe these steps can help you find the offending software: Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
