Windows 7: WMC - cannot find channels / odd behaviour

02 Dec 2009   #11

As an update - I tried the ASUS tuner on another Windows 7 machine last weekend, exactly the same behaviour.

Today I purchased a Hauppage Nova-T USb stick, and can report that this works perfectly - so the ASUS stick goes up on Ebay tonight!

Thanks again for the help.

RAM channels
What exactly is "triple channel" RAM? Is it just RAM that comes in a set of 3 or is the RAM different to dual channel? The reason I'm asking is that I was wondering if I could buy 3 sticks of "dual channel" RAM, and put them together, to make it triple channel on a new computer.
