what tuner are you using? mine is a fresh install on two different machines....
Are sorry differnt tuner i am using a divco daul hd tuner pci.
Are you using the nvidia driver that came from windows update?
i have ati... and im using what i think is the most current driver from their website
Yes i am using all divers that came with windows.
You probably want to download the win7 drivers direct from nvidias site in that case.
I have a HVR 1800 tuner and recorded HD or analog content plays great in the 7 Media Center, but live TV I have a problem with the sound. First it starts to stutter and then quit working, but pic is still crystal clear just sound goes away, then I push stop and then play and the sound is back for anywhere from 30 sec to minutes any ideas. Using build 7057 really like 7 except for the few bugs and driver issues it is going to be quite the operating system. ATI HD2600XT vid card. Sound is Striker 7.1. Hooked to 46 inch Sony 3 LCD wide screen. The issue was also in the 7000 build.
2 TripOG: do you solve this problem?
I have exactly the same problem as described in first post. In WMC liveTV worse quality of video, but in same time it other software (ComproDTV) all is OK!
Win7 RC x64
Videomate E900F
ATI Radeon HD 4670
if someone have solution... HEELP !
Same problem here.
I'm running 4 gigs of 1066 ram, Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 on Windows 7RC, 64 bit. I didn't have the problem running W7 RC 32 bit.
I seem to recall something on the Hauppauge/WinTV site saying something about issues with WinTV and 4 gb of ram and 64 bit systems.
I tried using the 64 bit drivers from Hauppauge, same thing. I tried the W7 drivers, same issue.
The problem comes and goes. Every time I think I have fixed it, it comes back. Stuttering, bit rate errors, etc.
I just pulled out 2 gigs of my ram....we'll see what happens.
