    mcGlidHost.exe service

    Hi,

i was not sure if this is an existing topic, if so can someone forward me to it, or simply tell me if there is a solution to this.

After opening WMC and closing it, it leaves a process running named mcGlidHost.exe, this is eating away 100mb+ of ram usually 140mb.

also known as 'the green button' though i have googled with no luck on how to disable it.

i know you can simply open task manager to end the process but this gets annoying after some time, and occasionally i forget to end it and i get low on system memory warning whilst gaming if it is running.

is there a way to disable this thirsty camel without interfering with WMC as i use it quite frequently?

thanks alot for any help that you can give me

    Rick.

i dont seem to have a problem with my network being used as i have already diabled error reporting,i did try this reg edit hack, but mcGlidHost.exe still runs after closing WMC, BUT the size of the EXE has reduced to 40mb, so its 100mb lighter now?
