    Disabling thumbnails?

Since i store all my videos in a NAS, is there anyway to disable thumbnails from generating in Media Center?

Or is there anyway to speed the process up?

Tried to search the forum but not much luck so...

    Thanks for the help guys

Try searching for enabling thumbnails, there seem to be plenty who have taken a path to where they are not getting thumbnails in WMC, maybe you could follow their lead? OK, I am not being serious...

You can disable automatic downloading of thumbnails in WMC:

    Tasks>Settings>General>Automatic Download Options>uncheck both items>Save

If the libraries you are watching already contain files that are not media file types or are thumbnails, you may need to remove those files.

    Thanks fo rthe quick reply!

But still no luck, those checkboxes are off already.
The fact that the files are on a NAS doesnt seems to be the main cause, maybe because i amusing those crappy slow ION ATOM 330, and a folder containing about 80-100 files making it slow?

Is there anyway to disable thumbnails all together in media center?
i have already tried disabling thumbnails generation in explorer, but obvioiusly its two different thing...

The last sentence of my post still applies. If you already have thumbnails in your watched folders (whether on a NAS or not) they will be displayed in WMC. The thumbnails are very small files.
