List of tested TV Tuner Cards

One of the great features of Windows 7 is the built in Windows Media Center. So if you have one currently installed and it's recognised by WMC, or if it's not recognised by WMC, please add your card to this list and I'll update it as often as I can.
It would be great if we could have the following information:
    Manufacturer - Model - 32bit or 64bit OS - A &/or D (Analog &/or Digital)- Connection type (USB/PCI-E/PCI)
also, if the card works on W7 with third party software, please include the program name and version if possible.

Hauppauge Win Nova TD-500 PCi - tested successfully on x64 and x86... 24 month UK warranty included in the package...

    Reservations are...

    • You might want to disable the IR module because it shows up as an ejectable USB device in your taskbar (either use the mouse or a USB remote as an alternative)
    • Hauppauge remote bundled with it ain't the best quality
    • I've only tested it for UK use
    • Hauppauge support isn't wonderful and they don't market it as W7 ready

I'd like to find a PCiE card which suits the UK because I'm not convinced PCI is really the best way to interface a tuner...

The Microsoft Windows 7 Hardware List is always a good place to start. These are all tested for compatability for both x86 and x64 systems and include Windows Logo TV Tuners.

I have been using a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1250, PCI-E version with no problems.
Win7 Ultimate 32 bit found it and installed the approprriate drives.
    HD is beautiful.

What a shame the Microsoft approved hardware list features analog/DVB cards in the same category, and that their links are mainly inaccurate and do not point directly to the manufacturers product page for the same hardware that is featured in the list...

Once one finds a manufacturer, just ask them for the Logo docs, they surely will be glad to provide them. As for analog/digital, many locations have differing broadcast standards, and MS has done a pretty good job adding in support for them.
