WMP12 and DLNA transcoding

I was using TVersity in Win XP Pro, which did on the fly transcoding of AVI to MPG video for my Pioneer 111FD plasma. Is there a way to get WMP12 to do the same kind of thing?

DLNA
DLNA - Until yesterday when my new TV arrived, I'd never heard of this. Now I'm trying to get to grips with it so that I can connect my PC via my network to my TV, so that I can send photos and videos on my PC to the TV.
