HD movie playback mainly avi files is choppy in WMC

    In ffdshow associate the audio in your files - so aac to xxx.

    in audio configuration. i only have two options for AAC which are "disabled" and "libfaad2" it was default to libfaad2

    yes. AAC still only has "disabled" and "libfaad2" in ffdshow configuration.

    In the CoreAAC filter, enable the option and disable it in ffdshow. Reboot.

    there is no configuration app for that last download. it only registers the coreaac.ax and that it.

    yea i believe so. .mkv's play perfect and mt2s (video camera videos) play fine. only problem is the sound in .avi's
