    Windows Media Center & Player

    Hello all

I am having a problem with windows media center & player.
When I go to Start and click on Windows media player nothing happens! And the same for Windows media center,I have a pic for the problem I have in the center!

I am running Windows 7 on a Dell i7 435T 9000. I have tried everything to fix this problem. Is there a way I can reinstall windows media player. I did download the media player from Microsoft web site but it did not install. I might have disable something.

This Windows 7 is a upgrade from Vista 64 Bit.The cpu is running good except for two problem.

    Thanks For your time.

If you right mouse click on the Media Center icon select Open AS ADMINISTRATOR and see what it does.

    Update on WMP

    Hello All

What I found out is Windows Media Player in-folder-Program files ( X86 ) dose not work at all. This is the one that is 64bit.

    The folder-Program-32-works fine.

Windows 7 Home Premium. Upgraded from Vista.

    Thanks
