Error with DVD files on networked folders

Has anyone noticed a problem with ripped dvd files (ie VIDEO_TS) that are mounted from a networked folder? I get a video error message about missing files and if I press "d" for more info I get the cryptic error:

    res://ehres!PlayerDenial.mcml#outofsync
Files needed to display video are not installed or are not
    working correctly.

This doesn't happen with dvd files on local disks, only networked folders. I'd like to know if someone has seen this or can reproduce this error. This is on build 7057, but I think it happens on the others as well.

I'm seeing the almost the same thing. The movies on the network drive will play from WMP but not Media Center.

After reading all the posts about network (WHS) troubles with 7057. I installed 7048 and all the troubles with networked ripped dvd's went away. I'm going to stick with 7048 till RC comes out. :)

Yes I had the same issue while using "My Movies 2"--a video collection program. Ripped DVDs did not work over the network using builds 7000, 7048, and 7057. The only way for it to work for me was to use 7048 and map the network drive so that it appeared to be a local drive. Also, my movies are all stored on a WHS, fyi.

I also read about these problems with MCE and also the extenders not playing video_ts folders or vob files... tho i did see someone who found a fix to play the ripped dvd in .iso format over the MCE.... i'm out looking for that myself today

Yeah I found 7068 on Vuze. I will probably install in in the next few days, does anyone have this confirmed working in 7068? Thanks for the advice, errata.
