    WMC7 DVD Burner Failure


    I just upgraded (not clean install) from Vista. I had no problems burning DVD's from recorded programs in Vista WMC, but the Win7 WMC gives me errors after starting the burn. I get "SBEServer has stopped working"
    followed by:
    "Media Center Extensibility Host has stopped working."
    Then something like:
    "Program Not Responding. The Burn CD/DVD program has stopped responding and you will be returned to Windows Media Center."

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Welcome ggordon, I haven't used the native burn function in WMC, But if you want to try a free program, ImgBurn works great for me.

    Thanks. The problem is not a lack of DVD burners but a loss of a function that the WMC should be performing.
