    TV tuner not available

TV tuner was working 4 or 5 days ago (last time I used it). But tonight it says there is no tuner. I can't seem to find the devices to look at it (upgraded from XP a week ago to Win 7 so bear with me). How do I trouble shoot this?

    Welcome FoFa,
Is it listed inthe device manager?
It should be under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

Geesh, took forever to find device manager.
OK, under Sound, Video, game controllers, it has a ATI unified AVStream Driver, and a Realtek AC97 Audio listed.
I do know the TV tuner is an ATI card.
I did a "scan for device changes" and the ATI unified AVStream Driver disappeared.

Right click on ATI card ,Choose Update Driver Software.
    Then Search Automatically.
See if that gets it fixed.

OK, weird. Could not find the TV card in the device list.
Figured I would come back to it later. Had to install some software, that required a restart.
Once restarted, TV tuner was working again.

I appreciate the assistance here. Thanks.
