Netflix just stopped working in windows 7 Media Center

I have been streaming video from Netflix in Windows 7 media center for about a month. Has worked great with no issues. Suddenly tonight, everything works until I hit play. It looks like it is going to work but stops in the red netflix screen and goes no further. Tried several times. Tried after rebooting. Tried unloading netflix media center add on and reloading. Also, there have been no auto updates since the last time it was working correctly so there is nothing to undo. I tried playing a movie in internet explorer 8 from netflix streaming and it still works fine. Any ideas on what happened in media center and what to try to fix it? Or is there some nexflix problem.

Same for me, it's been working fine for several weeks. Then tried to watch last night and it stops on the red Netflix screen after hitting play.

So "Swanson Photo Hardware Engineer Skilled": What is your point. Just trying to understand how your post is helpful to anyone.

As for the two others who replied, thank you. It confirms to me that something changed yesterday external to my system. Maybe we'll get some answers today that will be helpful.

Called Netflix and they said they were not supporting it anymore so it isn't working. The media center version, it will work fine in a browser.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll call Netflix and cancel today.

found this on the netflix forums(was posted 2 hours ago):

"spoke to Netflix - they tell me they are working with Microsoft to resolve this issue (mainly affecting MCE on Windows 7) and should be able to find a backend solution on their servers within 24 hours..."
