Duplicate Folders Appear on Video Menu

I have had a strange problem occur on several occasions using Windows 7 Media Center. I have my library of movies and television etc on the Media Center Videos Option. So when I select Video, the next screen I get...

    Documentaries
    Movies
    Movies HD
    Music Videos
    Television

Now when I say go into Documentaries and watch whatever I have, on odd occasions when I have finished watching my Video, I return to the above menu, only to find that I have a duplicate folder. i.e....

    Documentaries
    Movies
    Movies
    Movies HD
    Music Videos
    Television

As far as I can tell, it's totally random as to which one gets duplicated. In fact I have seen 2 or 3 duplicated at once!

Has anyone had this happen to them?

No I've not see this before but then again I use the
    BEST PLUG IN OUT THERE

I've got a huge library and this made my life so much easier and it looks good doing it!

    Nice one mate.
Do you know about MediaPortal? That blows away everything! I've been using it the past couple of years as I too have a vast library of vids etc. The problem is MediaPortal is not totally compatible with Windows 7 yet! Which is very annoying. I have been posting messages on their forum about this, but they seem to be not interested in sorting this out as they keep telling me that they won't support a 'beta' unreleased Windows!

MediaPortal (when working) is very powerful and very easy to use. As soon as it is compatible with Windows 7, I'll be going back to that.

    Here's a link for you...

MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - Home

I do like Windows 7 MCE, but it is definitely not even close to MediaPortal. I will now check out that info you gave me mate. Nice one!
