Hey guys I really appreciate the help, but as long as I can get it to work with salami's tool than I think I'll be OK. I pretty sure my video card drivers i installed net frame 2 so i really don't want to mess with it too much.

I will wait for the big release when i will have to do it all over again.

this error took me here - (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003)
googled it and said something to do with IIS and possibly visual basic 6

    142 possibilities -
    Search The Knowledge Base

as I like to learn scripts and all as much as possible, I'm a little burned out right now and that is just gonna take too much effort at this point, I'll just do the shortcuts manually with salami's tool.

10 to 1 it will start to work for no reason somewhere down the line - lol

    thanks again, t41 :)

Hey DS ask these guys if they getting slammed (or got slammed) by the folks at dropbox as well. I am sure they have as much traffic going to their drop box as you do. I think if you have a paid version (like me), then they don't care about the traffic. I got the 50GB for 9.95 a month because I use it to store my apps, client files etc in case my portable drive goes belly up. Just a thought. But on the graphics, major props man.

Naw I think I get about x5 times the traffic as those guys. But you also have to take into account, in this thread alone I have 1.5 gb of things sheared to everyone in the form of downloads and pictures. I have like 50 downloadabile items and 120 photos.

So dropbox really feels me every time someone just hits this post. they dont even need to dl something.
So I do understand where there coming from. I do only use dropbox for that web feather and that wasn't there main propose.

Its a sad day for the Future of the free Media Browser!

It looks like the free party is coming to an end and they are about to start a cover charge at the door.

If they are going to charge for MB, that is not such a bad idea, the app is really good. I don't think anyone should object to them deciding to charge for it. They could probably do like MCShout, and let users have a free run for a while, and if they want to keep it, pay about $10 (the same cost of MCshout) for a one time fee, and get a lifetime of upates. Hey DS on that request, that is a real tricky one because there is no way for a script to look at a jpg and "read" what it is a picture of, and then give it the appropriate name. Unless I am misunderstanding the request, I think that is not likely. Maybe you can break it down for me again.
Edit: I looked at the post again, and what he wants (at least from my pov). can't happen. Well not off the top anyway. Unless the "other" jpg had a distinctive name that the script could read, then it can rename it. Bear in mind, each title is going to be different, so that means there is no way write enough variations in the script, not even wild cards will work. Then again, someone who is a better script writer than me, might be able to do it.

    yea sure.
What we are talking about is lets say we are working with a folder full of movie folders.
Already inside each folder is the files already named backdrop, backdrop1, backdrop2 ect.
What we are asking for is a script that will scan through the directory's LOOKING FOR THE BACKDROP2. When it finds it it will rename it to backdrop (2).jpg, and if there are any other backdrops that are numerically behind the one that was renamed, then it will also restore them to the corrected #'s.

    * is for you to see what moved
i.e. backdrop, *backdrop1, **backdrop2, ***backdrop3 and so on if more backdrops are present
will become this when the script finds it.
i.e. backdrop, *backdrop1, ***backdrop2, **backdrop (2) and so on for more backdrops present

And lastly if there is already a backdrop (2) present then it moves on to the next folder.
And if there is only one backdrop present it will move on.
    If only two Rename
    Does that make more seance?

OK he just changed it to something that will be easier to do I think.

Can you do something that will look through all folders looking for the backdrops string and just rename the last one to backdrop (2).jpg

So no mater if there is 5 bd's or 10 ect. the last in the string gets renamed.

And if only one do nothing move on to next folder
if backdrop (2) present do nothing move on to next folder

Never Mind Zay, FiLeX is working on it for me. Thanks anyway
