The icon was absolutely no where to be found - not on the menu, not in the extra folder with the 2.1.1 build, and only in the extras folder in the 2.0.11 build.
if you have it with 2.0.11 then just right click it in the extras and set to main page then install 2.1.1 right over it.

thanks! another question I had was whether it's possible to place the Mediabrowser icon within the Movies strip? I found tutorials on how to delete the movies strip and on how to create a Mediabrowser strip, but not on how to put a Mediabrowser icon within the Movies strip...

Just replace the "application".png in the install directory with the one you wish to use.

I think I might have miscommunicated. I'm asking how to move the icon from the extras strip to the movies strip; I'm not asking how to change Mediabrowser's own icon.

DemonSeed,

I have followed your instructions to add the trailer to Mediabrowser but I am not able to play the trailer. I know it is not a codec issue since I can play a downloaded trailer using MCE and MB. I have used the Gettrailers.exe and it was able to download a trailer file but it is a 24KB file. It seems very small for a 1080P trailer :-)

Is the GetTrailers only download the link or does it download the whole trailer?

Thanks for your help on putting this tutorial.

Hi Tal, Welcome to the forum!

The trailers will only work with the Vanilla theme. That said, yes the trailer downloader is downloading the whole file.

You might want to give Media Center Master a try, it is much better a finding the trailers + it will add the info to the xml's also.

If ya need anything more just let me know!

DemonSeed,

Thanks for the quick reply. It seems that Media Center Master did download the whole trailer and that seems to fix the problem.

Another quick questions for ya. When I play one trailer and then I go back to another movie and try to play a different trailer, it never does play the 2nd trailer. If I wait for the 1st trailer to finish and then try to view the 2nd trailer, it does work like it should.

Am I missing something in my configuration?

Tal.
