Why do I get "Cannot Play Video" message (see attached) when trying to play a trailer from Appe Trailers ?? I was trying to play the "Avatar" trailer.

Does the Appe Trailer plug-in need updating ??

Do either of the Trailer plug-ins download in the background so that they are avaialble immediately ??

    TIA

I'm not really sure what is going on there? Try deleting the plugin from the folder in programdata and have the config tool re download it. I know your still using the one I sent you a while back, and I think some changes have gone on in MB and the plugin was updated. So give that a try and see if that wont fix it.

To answer your other "Q", NO, it dose not download anything to your PC, its streaming it directly from the apple website.

If I'm not wrong I saw a request asking for the abilty to have MB download trailers, so you should go to the MB Tracker and give your support to the request and Sam might take a look at it.
Thats more or less how he does it. The more support a request gets the more he'll think about adding it in.
Here is the MB Tracker link. Media Browser Community Tracker

    DemonSeed,

Do you know of a way to get your music to play in MediaBrowser? I've seen your pics and icons, but I can't find a way to get it to play...

    Thoughts?

Thanks in advance, and thanks for all of your dedication to this amazing plugin!

I used this app to find all the folder and backdrop images. Music for MediaBrowser.

It a one at a time deal but it works good. Save the images to the folders and MB will do the rest.

MusicArt is a little slow... OK, a lot slow at loading large music library's but if you let it set,it will load it up.

If you want to speed it up you can show it smaller grupes of music ata time and it will load it a lot faster.

    But it does work.

unfurtonately because of its freakin speed i gave up on musicart. I Think i will wait on the next big thing. Love Media browser as is now. I like windows 7 music service as is as well. my only wish for media browser at this point is to integrate a metadata editor built in within media browser itself. I think it would benefit the user a lot by being able to change genre or add information they know its worth to the movie. Im already using meta browser and find it wonderfull. My Terabyte hard drive is almost full with over 800 movies now. im not one to get blue ray rips. Im happy with dvd quality rips especially h264 format in mp4. because you can add built in metadata to the files using metax. but only mp4. so my movies are no larger then 1.5 gigs i think that anything over 2gigs is just to much. You might as well buy the movies if your going to eat up your costly hard drive space so quickly. But i must admit im looking forward to the future when hard drive space will be cheap as dirt and everyone will have like 200 terabytes of space for about 100 dollar hard drive. Look how much our technology has advance and how codecs have moved along so quickly. the future of tv will be in pcs. and everyone will have a small box pc hooked up to their tv. And everything will be downloaded. Japans got a superfast network already with docsis 3.0 and they get about 50 mbs downloads. Here in the US we push 20 with verizon fios. But they cap peoples downloads at like 4 gigs per month. Thats trash if you ask me. Soon cable companies will be in competition by upgrading their systems in the us to docsis 3.0 as well but we have to beat their stupid 4 gig capping. thats like no more than 4 movies a month for most of us. So when big companys decide to implement this caps i say we strike and make it well known. Cap That.
