Sure they do but i don't want to go through the hassle of adding each of my movie folders individually.. and going through the procedure each time i add a movie.. hope metabrowser adds the rootdisk option and also a listen function, since it doesn't seem like the resource hog mymovies is..

It does have both of those options. I have 4 root drives pointed to in meta and they work fine. And when a new movie is dropped in meta automatically finds the info and downloads it for me.

Also, I have a another announcement...

Vanilla 1.0 has been brought back as a plugin. So if you liked the first Vanilla better, you now have a choice of using it or the New Vanilla 2.0

Thanks for everyones help, got the Vanilla plugin working well. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get the coverflow option to work. When I click on movies there is no tab for changing the view. Once again, thanks everyone.

To get to the view setting tab just navigate to the edge of your screen then press up against it, and the buttons will popup on the top of the screen. (any edge, up, down, left or right)

This is good news for me. 2 looks really good, but I am one of those that prefer 1.

    Thanks!

I thought it was just root drives but its all folders.. it must be my naming scheme!
How can i configure it to detect a scheme like:

    D:\Gamer.720p.BluRay.x264-iNFAMOUS\inf-gamer.mkv

    Probably so.

Meta browser will not retrieve media info for Pirated Movies clearly labeled as such.

I must be an idiot, but I open media browser, click "my video's" and move my mouse to all 4 corners and nothing happens any idea?

If you have issues with it try this.

    Go back to default theme.
In the main config, check remember index by state (so itll remember folder settings for that section)

You should have a view button that stays up all the time.
Go ahead and set everything you want to coverflow, adjust size etc, then switch the theme back.

Half a day wasted with meta then.
So.. even though i've bought the bluray i still have to learn to encode it if i need a backup.. and all the metadata is kindly shared by the buyers.. clever.. no wonder i cant get any info in my lang.
Woopty-doodly-doo.. i shed a tear for the poor studios and hope polarized 3d glasses makes the industry last a few more years, as the dying behemoth it is now.. cuz drm blurays sure didn't (and never will..)

They better actually adapt to 'new media' and stop investing in ways of hindering and controlling hardware, since the software department is clearly a lost war..

Convincing Intel to cap atom pineview integrated gpu to 720p is hopeful for them, but it won't stick for long with the market and it just makes it harder for nvidia to keep the ion chip, grinding to a halt all the progress in the barebone format.. Thats green thinking at it's best, really..

IF studios are interested in stopping 'pirating' why the avalanche of R5 releases? And how will they ever cope with TV's 'alternative acquiring methods' like torrents and tivo and why has it become the proverbial alamo for 'starving' stars, if it's not as profitable these days? Cant help but feel we're not gettin the half of it.. until some big studios go horribly bust at least.. will they ever? like to see a stimulus package for them heheh

They're simply in denial until they reach the point where they come clean, stop misspending money in vacuous trifle and go with simultaneous Cinema-on-demand releases for those who invest in home-cinema + broadband net (or slighty delayed at least) and extra content from a tivo like apparatus at slightly less than a theater ticket!

That and improving theater conditions at a regular pace and not just when they see profits dwindling, would actually earn them big bucks.. why should i pay extra for worse A/V just cuz they can't fathom a way to get their product to me in usable time? No other retailer sees this as an obstacle, since they actually have to hear out the consumer.

Sorry for the elongated post but i just gotta take this outta my chest when it merits.
