It is the best video plug-in I'v ever tried!
I like it but still use other plug-in's for videos.
Tryed it but wasent happy and removed it.
It doesnt have all the features I need.
Just the right amount of features.
It was to hard to use.
It was so easy to use.
In a nut shell....
MediaBrowser will take your media collections and present them in a wonderful information rich, visulay pleasing manner.
It is EXTREMELY customizable, easy to setup, hard to put down, and fun for the entire family!
sales pitch end...
lol, basically all I can say in the end is try it. Once you do, you'll be hooked just like the rest of us!
I agree with DemonSeed. Give it a try. Its not hard to get it up and running. It does take some time when you get into fully customizing it. But I just started using it about a week or so ago and I am hooked. I was using my movies but I am glad that I made the change. Use the knowledge base on Media Browsers Main web page. There is a lot of information there. Plus everyone on here has been extremely Helpful.
I don't use it but I took a look
so I assume you never changed it, right?
open it with notepad or just right click it and go to EDIT and change the following lines to reflect your system:
Good Luck'change ("D:\test") to where your movies are located
'change "D:\trailer\trailer.mov" to the path and name of your trailer clip
'you can run this from any location, even your desktop.
-DG
That thing is no longer valid.
Trailers are not handled in the same way anymore in MB so that script is doing something MB wont use.
Yeah...THAT would've been a nice information to have
Please if anyone can help put a script together to do the trailers, it would be greaty appreciated.
Thanks
I have not been on here in months, glad to see this is still going strong. Here use this. Copy everything between start and end script and paste into notepad, and save is a .bat. Make sure to set the "Save As Type" field to all files, and add .bat to the name of file eg create traler folder.bat. Edit the filter and basedir lines to suit what you want.
****************start script******************
rem this script will look for a particular file, it exist, it will create a
rem folder and move the file found to the
rem folder that was created
@echo off
set "Filter=trailer.mov"
set "BaseDir=M:\AVI Movies 1"
set "NewDir=Trailers"
for /f "tokens=*" %%A in ('dir /a-d /b /s "%BaseDir%\%Filter%"') do (
mkdir "%%~dpA%NewDir%"
move "%%~fA" "%%~dpA%NewDir%"
)
************end script*****************
Congratulations Demon on making Guru status.
