Demon sorry to bother again but I need your help again.

I reformatted my PC and i seemed to get all my settings using media browser working like I had them before except 1 thing.

The volume in my MKV and AVI files is really low.

Before I used to have my volume at 50 or 55 max when watching MKV's but now I have to go to 65 even 70 to use it and I don't seem to be getting sound with all of my speakers with the surround.

I installed same items I had before (Shark 007 and CCCP)

    any help please??

The only thing I'm sure of is it's codec related, apart from that I dont know how to tell you to fix it, and on that point, my pc is the same as yours with mkv, so if you figure it out let me know plz :P

I love the look of MediaBrowser, but have always been apprehensive at modifying MC for gfear of it becoming unstable. I travel a lot and it would not be good for it to go down while I am out of town. Wife would kill me. Before I leap can I ask a couple questions?
    • Comment on stability?
    • Can it be run in parallel with current menus so I can evaluate for a while?
    • Any problems with breaks with metadata or other? - Wife factor.
    • Basically it needs to be pretty bullet proof for the wife or I pay...
    Appreciate the help.

It will be fine for starters its a plugin ,so basically wife can still use wmc without using media browser, the stability is fine i have used it for a couple of years and no problems whatsoever with wmc,and i recently had a wmc update and that created no problems either.
also it adds a item to the menu so you choose MB or use the other menus as suits.

Hi- Simple question I think. I have downloaded and installed Media Browser. The install went OK and I see it along with my media. I do not see any metadata. No fan art, nothing on cast and crew, or no synopsis. Do I need to get one of those plug-in themes to make it work?

i use media center master to get my meta data. i drag one folder at a time over to MCM and it sorts it out for me, you can drag several one by one and it forms a que,
Tip make sure the film title is correct with no extra info ie file type and add the year

I thought media browser did all that. I tried clearing the cache and refreshing and still nothing. If it does not manage the metadata then that explains why there is nothing there.

i think its supposed to but its never showed for me thats why i do it manually, its a pain at first if you have a large collection of movies but once its done then its easy just adding one or two as they come along.
