    Recordings with no metadat on client


    I have set up a Win7 as Server with 3 tunercards for recording and 2 client machines.
    I noticed a difference with Vista with this. When the server is recording I can see that in the recording list of the client machine without thumbnail because it still recording. Als I can watch these recordings on the client while recording on the server. So far so good but when the recording has finisht the (odd) filename stays the same and there is no metadata available on both clients (No information available). The server has normal recordings names and metadata.

    For example, I just recorded (in dutch) Eigen huis en tuin_RTL4. This recording is named on the server Eigen huis en tuin but on the clients it's named Eigen huis en tuin_RTL4_2009_04_19_09_50_00.
    Same name but with date and time.

    The recordings play fine by the way.

    What could be the problem here.

    Are both of your other pc's win 7 also?
    Because I know Vista will display the latter of your info just as you posted it;
    and it can be changed in vista on how to display the name but as of now the plugin that will do this does not install in Win 7

    All three machines running Win7. Vista without TV Pack installed can't read wtv files.
