Why cant someone make a 4 tuner card or usb box for wmc. i guess wmc will work with that pci cable card adapter when it comes out. it has 6 cable tuners from one cable card.

You will just have to split the antenna to the card.
You can try a direct connect from the cable without a card and see if you receive it.
I have a cable HD box to the TV but I also have my cable company has HD limited straight out of the wall without a box
Ceton has a quad card coming out this month, with Cable Card, $399 a single PCIe card. They also have a 6 tuner card that will only be available to OEMs. Actually there is a pretty long waiting list for the quad card.

He was asking for a USB 4 tuner not a PCI card which he has no room.

"I dont have any free pci ports because my video card is blocking the last one. so i need a usb tv tuner that works with wmc. do they a make 2 or 4 tuner one that works with one antenna?"

I can see using it with close circuit video like security system monitoring but why would anyone need that many tuners for TV viewing? I'll look into it and see what is the purprose for a card like that. Power consumption should be high.

Read it again where he says :

And the purpose is simple. Say you setup your HTPC, then you have multiple extenders. Each extender can only watch it's own channel if it has a free tuner. If you want to record something you need free tuner. So if I am watching something on my Xbox in my living room, and wife is watching something on the Linksys extender, there is 2 tuners used, now if we want to record 1 or 2 shows we need that many more tuners. Some people have extenders in kids rooms, garages, etc. So the more the better. I don't think there are any special power requirements. Its a tuner, not a graphics card. I think you may be confusing the two. They also may have a USB version coming out, and supposedly SiliconDust is working ona cable card HDhomerun as well.
