    Connecting to TV

I just upgraded to Windows 7 and after seeing all the commercials about how you can stream movies and pictures from my computer to my tv, I would like to set this up.

It does not seem as easy as the commercial makes it out to be. Is there a guide and also is there anything I need specifically? How do I go about starting this process?

You can start by telling us what tv you have (and what inputs it has), also what are your computer specs?

From the commercial it appears that the guy is streaming to his TV. So you would a TV or device [ie PS3, Xbox 360] that supports DLNA. However you could always use HDMI if you PC supports it. Just make sure you switch your sound device to the HDMI device if you decided to go that route.

Here's a couple links to look at,

Connect your computer to a TV

Windows Media Center | Learn More | Using extenders | Help > FAQ: Wireless networks

And as zigzag3143 stated, if we knew more about your computer and your TV we could give more information.

This post here should help with filling out your system specs,

    Sorry for being vague,

My tv is this model Samsung Full HD LCD TV 550 Series 46" LA46A550P1F - LCD TV - televisions | SAMSUNG

    As for my computer:
    Processor - AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2.8GHz
    Ram - 3 GB
    System type - 64 bit

I do have a Ps3, my computer is a desktop so I would need a wireless setup.
