First off you need a Welcome to the se7enforums here! And let's see if we can't you going with the tuner card there. :)

First of all it seems that model is Vista compatible showing the software as well as drivers should work well on 7. That model can be seen at Compro Technology Global_Home

Lately when trying out the various builds for seeing if the tuner card here would be able to record as well as see picture as well as hearing sound the 64bit 7 actually seemed to respond easier when detecting and installing the software and drivers. Sometimes it will take a few attempts and even using the right click compatibility mode tab for XP SP2 with the card here or for Vista.

On the last attempt before repartitioning and reformatting two separate drives to which 7 would be the default OS(32bit or 64bit) the tuner card ran right into another typical problem of seeing over 10,000 duplicate files created wihen recording for only a minute!

The 64bit 7 on the other hand recorded as soon as the software/drivers were on and the system restarted. I no longer had to boot into XP now removed for the moment in order to record not just simply watch only. Here the initial lack of picture saw a grey screen with sound until a few reinstall attempts saw results on a few of the previous builds.

The one thing that make and model card offers is both 32bit and 64bit software updates for Vista at Compro Technology Global_Home

If you don't have the latest but are using the software cd only try the updates and right click on the main executable file or desktop shortcut if not already on the taskbar to use the troubleshoot compatibility option if the compatibility mode set to Vista and run as administrator fails to see results. Sometimes it still takes a few installations however to get the card itself detected fully and the drivers made active by Windows.

I'm still having a few problems at times while the make and model card sees an option media center that goes right on both RCs and works without fuss while the Vista driver update fails each time. Every so often the 32bit XP drivers however will go on and run in both 32bit and 64bit 7s!

It's usually the application part of it more then the actual device drivers seeing the problems. If the installer has the custom option of installing the software without the main driver let the optional Windows updates where you extras for hardwares and softwares as well as Windows find the latest driver for you.

    Hi guys!

    I'm having the same problem with a compro T750 & win7 RC 32bit.

    have tried:
    vista driver
vista driver (install in compat mode)
extract contents of vista driver .exe and use dev. mgr. to install .inf (but cant because there's no .inf)
run compro dtv in compat mode.
checking compro website (but no one who knows anything has said a word)

    and all to no avail.
I have sound but no video.

    hoping this can be sorted

When Vista first came out here I could no longer use an older model tuner//capture card ending with that simply being replaced. That was while Vista was in RC form then.

The newer card wouldn't record until finding the actual problem recently since that saw XP MCE driver support with the Vista driver update still not working on anything leaving the XP drivers for the 64bit RC! Most of the models out are still XP orientated with some claiming being "Vista ready" or "Vista certified"? Har!

The thing I found here that got things working was simply from experimenting with the compatibility mode, run as admin, and new troubleshoot compatibility option now seen in the right click menu. It's still going to be trial and error for some time yet since 7 isn't quite finished and released for seeing regular support from MS and 3rd party companies.
