    Windows 7 cablecard install today...

Hi, I have been using cable cards with mediacenter for a couple years now without problems. I convinced my brotherl-in-law to have them installed but he doesn't have a "cablecard certified" pc. It is a brand new hp with windows 7 64bit. I attempted to set up digital cable, but I was greeted with the message "this pc is not cerrtified for use with cablecard blah blah blah".

The cable guy will be here anytime...

Anyways, I know any PC with appropriate hardware and win7 can use cablecards now, but I think I need a download link to the appropriate software?

Thanks in advance. I know someone will have the answer/link here....

Ok, I searched for "digital cable advisor windows 7" and found the answer easily...it's in the extras gallery.

Well, I just went through the tv signal search and it's still only recognizing the analog tuner. What can I do?

Your BIOS may not have the OSFR table needed to use a DCT in it.
