FWIW, I updated RC1 to Win7 RTM Home Premium x32 and it had a proper driver for my Hauppauge 2250 when I installed the OS and ran the first Windows update. This was NOT the case with RC1. Working great, see no need to go hunting for newer drivers and newer troubles.

I got the update on 21-august-2009 right after the install. Hope this helps. Card works perfectly for my QAM needs, no ATSC where I live until I sue the HOA so they will approve a roof mounted antenna.

Just thought I'd throw this out there now on Newegg there actually advertising some TV Tuner cards as "Windows 7 Compatiable" so I'm sure lots and lots of tuners work with 7.

Newegg.com -HDTV TV Tuner, Video Editing,TV Tuner Card, USB TV Tuner, Hauppauge TV Tuner, External TV Tuner, PC to TV, HDTV USB TV Tuner, Converter,AVerMedia TV Tuner,Video Transfer,VGA Adapter,Video Capture,Laptop TV Tuner, Notebook TV Tuner,Video D

Well I just installed the AverMedia Hybrid Bravo PCI-e tuner using the vista 64 drivers on the disc. And it works great on their software but I can't get it to work in MC. But for 49.00 It's fine for my pc I've got a 52in Samsung 1080P flat iin the livingroom if I really feel the need to watch something. However it would be nice to have it working on MC as well as Quam

    Haupauge..

    Quik Fix:
Go to Run and type in msconfig
go to the area were it says Boot
    Click on the operating system
    Click on advanced options
Change your memeory to read 4095. It will default to 4096.
This prevent Win 64 rom load anymore than 3 meg of ram.
There is a bug in Media Center.
It will not run with more that 3 meg of ram.
    It work great.

    Hope it works

Strange, my Hauppauge runs fine in x64 with 12gb of RAM here.

Mine does too on my 8 GB machine....for about 20 minutes. Then it starts to pixelate and stutter.

I know this doesnt help you much but it does prove that it works with Win7 64 RTM and Fusion HDTV 3.8. Clean install...:)

    Dig.

I stuffed around with XP mode yesterday and tried to load the 3.80 software into this virtual machine, but no dice... it always aborted on loading with a device error.

So today I called up Media Centre by chance and it let me watch live TV - without me doing anything special (apart from uninstalling the Dvico package from the XPM 'sandbox')!

Knock me down with a feather! Perhaps MS in its latest driver updates sneaked in a new Dvico driver?!

    Cheers,

By Fare the Happauge 2250 has the least amount of problems, and does so much more with superior quality. I have one my self.

Media Center in W7 is able to tune in one weak analog channel that my vista x64 installation won't; Compro E800 runs also fine.
